• A day of boardgames and wargames with a focus on the large, long or complex games that not often seen at other Irish gaming conventions because they are so hard to get to the table.

• Tre Kronor, a group aimed at East Anglian board wargamers, will meet on Sunday 16 November from 9am to 6pm at the Helions Bumpstead Village Hall near Haverhill, where Essex meets Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. All are welcome. Voluntary £5 contribution towards the hall hire.
• The aim is for us to meet once a quarter on a Sunday, so November, February, May and August.

• FriedrichUK26 will take place at the Bar Convent, York from 1500 on Friday 12 June until Sunday 14 June.
• Competitors will play 4 qualification games, one in each role. The top 4 qualifiers will play a final starting mid afternoon on the Sunday. Rules and scoring will be as per the recent FWC25.
• Entries may be limited to 16, so only the first 16 entries will be immediately accepted.

• Entry fees will depend on the number of entrants:
  • £50 if we have only 12 entrants
  • £40 if 16 entrants

• A £5 discount is available (on a first offered, 1st accepted basis) if you bring a chess clock.

• Taking place at the original venue at Thirlmere in a beautiful location in the Lake District, this is the summer version of the Unfurl Your Banners board wargame and multiplayer minicon.
• You can sleep on a camp bed in the venue itself or camp in its grounds.
• The venue has a kitchen and two showers. Numbers are capped at 35 players.
